• Stephen Chu graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 1987 with BSc in Engineering. He pursued further at various universities and received MBA, LLB, MA (Arbitration & Dispute Resolution), PCLL. On professional training, he was qualified as ANZIIF (Fellow), FCII, and FCIArb.
• Stephen has extensive experience in HK insurance industry. In last 30 years, he has taken senior underwriting and management posts in various international insurance and reinsurance companies including QBE, General Re AG, Essar International Insurance Brokers and SCOR Re.
• Stephen was qualified as Barrister-at-law in 2018 and started his new career in law.  He also started to practice as Arbitrator and Mediator in 2018. He started to practice as Employed Barrister in 2020 while working in insurance companies, further involving himself in matters relating to legal, compliance, risk management, claims, construction insurance and employees’ compensation insurance..
• On the education training field, Stephen serves as Part-Time Lecturer of VTC PEAK. He started to teach various legal courses for the Hong Kong Legal Training Institute as from 2018 and Introduction to International Arbitration course for the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators as from 2019.
